awesome….I like the lighting and shelves….

  • Shane Hertzog

I like how she made the tablesaw box joint jig i was blown away with her smart woodworking mind.I like the box joint jigs clamps.'' australia.

  • Brian Wingo

    Turned out amazing!

  • Emil Mubarakshin

Lady, I basically love you! :)

  • Pinguin am Suedpol

    you are weird… in a good way…

  • Louise Attzs

    Girl, you're awesome 🙌🏾🙌🏾

  • Mark Sadler

Love the shelves, love the LED lighting effect. I'll admit a did cringe a bit with taping the wires. That's admittedly because I used to install customer home theater systems and run low-voltage wiring. You're smart, talented and skilled. I enjoy your videos because you don't seem to shy away from much. And I like that you involved some simple electronics that most people can handle. I just think you should have bit the bullet and at minimum carefully removed the crown molding to hide the wires behind. Maybe you can tackle that in another video down the road.

Great project. The TV kind of looks a little high?

  • Kyo Kusanagi

Awesome !!! I watch both of you in Brazil !!!!!!!!! 👍

  • Wildman Tech

Hiding wire is always tough. Routing my speaker wires involves going down under the house; across to a closet where I can the go up through the wall and then spread out to ceiling mounts through the attic. Costs a lot more in wire, but its a nice clean install.

tengo 20 años y ya me enamore de ti

  • Loszmi

    No no no rgb ;-(

  • Let's Make

when you keep speakers near to the tv it harm the t.v screen

try adding all the cables inside sleeves, then staple some staples under the shelf to add zip ties, cable management would be better looking, especially for the TV wires hanging down

  • Tcg1921

that's cool, I really want to setup my own room when I grow older, as for now I'll stick to what I have.

heiiii Linn, instead of white masking table i recommend using self-adhesive white wiremold and instead using electricity tape for locking led strip and wiring for me hot glue gun works better! and ofcourse hello from Romania ! 😉

  • Doug Clark

Personally, I love the look of those sconces, but the mantel piece would drive me crazy. I don't like the look of raw LEDs. You might want to try something like this, which, has a nice benefit of giving the LEDs some diffusion and a "finished" look: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013U9SXOW/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1OS8Q98Q1OY6C&coliid=I1ODPM88KMY14C

  • Mother Nature

    Wow! Girl power! 👍👍

  • RXR Sawdust Station

Me, I prefer wires be hidden. Under the floor or in the attic, but that's just me 😉 Very well done, though….you're happy with it and that's all that matters. I really admire your diversity of skills!

  • Johann Wyss

You may be interested in connecting the led strips to a micro controller and having the light emitted match the colors from the screen. It would be epic for immersion.

  • Jp's Custom Woodworking

I like the setup Linn, the leds really make it cool looking. >:)…JP

  • RomaTul

Very nice project! Im working on something similar myself! Im not sure if there was a editing mix up but as some other people noted at the end of 4:25 there is a frame inserted of you sitting and talking.

  • Parth Bhat

you could have used 3 arduinos talking with one another wirelessly to control the RGB light, that could have saved ur ceiling from being taped and routing the wire around .. and that would even add more flexibility to the effects of the light change :)
